Set Defaults

  1. Choose all of the needed settings to be the default settings for all of the users in the district.
  2. After they are chosen, click on the Defaults button. Only an Admin profile can see this button.
  3. Now, when all of the users in the district go to that program, the defaults chosen will automatically be what they will see.
  4. Users can go in and change their settings, but if they get out and re-enter, then the defaults will re-apply.


NOTE that this is also the Default settings that all users in the district will see when they use the Student Master> iGear for grades in Print Transcript, Action>Court Report & Leave Entry Package, etc.

An exception is if Print with Report Card Settings is not selected in Student Master> iGear for grades for the Report Card, it will display the grades seen in the field.

If Print with Report Card Settings is selected in Student Master> iGear for grades for the Report Card , the iGear uses the user's preferences that are set up in the Report Card setup box in the HS/Elem Grading Period field the last time they were in the program AND they clicked on Print and Yes to the popup question which triggers the actual Save feature.
