UNDER CONSTRUCTION !!!

This report will show you the students who are at risk by comparing the age, discipline, attendance and GPA.

Note: Data used in this and other DEWS reports are processed each night at the district server level producing totals by school and by district. For the online reports a listing of students can be viewed by clicking on the cell of interest. The triggers established for this report are based on research conducted within Louisiana. and research reported nationally.


  1. On the left, click on SBLC/RTI Editor
  2. Under Dews, select District Dews
  3. If you need instructions for setup values to be used, follow the link for Standard Setup Options.


The next items are not found on the standard setup options document.

  • Run Date - choose the date that you want to use by clicking on the drop down arrows or using the calendar

Definitions of Column Headers

To find definitions of commonly used columns follow this link: Common Column Headers.

In addition to the common column headers on this report are:

Overage

Disc & Disc % - Number and percentage of students with a discipline ratio greater than or equal to 0.07. The discipline ratio is determined by dividing the number of discipline referrals by the number of days the student is enrolled. All counts are performed at the district level.


Att & Att % - Number and percentage of students with an absence ratio greater than or equal to 0.10. The absence ratio is determined by dividing the number of days the student is absent by the number of days the student is enrolled. All counts are performed at the district level.


GPA & GPA % - Number and percent of students with a GPA less than or equals to 1.0, or with a GPA from the last grading period of 2.0 and declines a minimum of 0.5 points, or with a decline of 1.5 points from the last grading period in the GPA. All counts are performed at the district level.


For the following column headers, listed is the number and percentage of students identified as a potential dropout for more than one area.

To Print this Report

  1. Click the Print button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML.
  3. The default print option will be PDF.
  4. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  5. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons.
  6. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear.
  7. Click the print button at the top left to print the report. Close the print preview.
