Standard Setup Options

These are the most commonly used "Setup Box Options". Sometimes these will be displayed under the "Filter" button.

Most Common

Year - Defaults to the current year. A prior year may be accessed by clicking in the field and making the appropriate selection from the drop down list.
District - Default value is based on the user's security settings. The user will be limited to their district only.
School - Default value is based on the user's security settings. If the user is assigned to a school, the school default value will be their school site code. The user will not be able to change this value. If the user is a supervisor or other district office employee with access to the Student Information System, they will be able to run programs for one school, a small group of schools, or all schools in your district.
Grade - Grade level of students whose records need to be edited or whose names are to be included on a report. Leave the field blank if all grade levels are to be included. Otherwise, click in the field to the right of Grade(s) to select the desired grade level(s) to be included.
Gender - Gender of students whose records need to be edited or whose names are to be included on a report. Leave the field blank if both genders are to be included. Otherwise, click in the field to the right of Gender to select the desired gender to be included.
Ethnic - Ethnicity of students whose records need to be edited or whose names are to be included on a report. Leave the field blank if all ethnicities are to be included. Otherwise, click in the field to the right of Ethnic to select the desired ethnicity(s) to be included.
Active Only, Active As Of, As of Date, Active Students Only - This choice will list only those students who are actively enrolled as of the date selected in the date field.
Special Codes - Special Codes must have been entered into the Student Master record for students. Leave blank if all special codes are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Special Codes to select the desired special code(s) to view.
Program - Leave blank if all program codes are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Program Codes to select the desired program code(s) to view.
Club - Extracurricular activities in which students may participate. Leave blank if all clubs are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Clubs to select the desired club(s) to view.
Sport - Leave blank if all sports are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Sports to select the desired sport(s) to view.


Less Common

Accommodations - Students identified as 504 will have an IAP which lists a particular student's required accommodations such as (but not limited to) shorter assignments, preferential seating and extended test time. Leave blank if all accommodations are to be included in the report. Otherwise, click in the box to the right to select the desired accommodations to view on the report.
Advisor - Selects students for this report based on the Advisors that have been assigned to individual students.
Alarm Codes - Codes related to a student's health or limitations on parental involvement. Leave blank if all alarm codes are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Alarm Codes to select the desired alarm code(s) to view.
Alert Codes - Codes related to a student's health or limitations on parental involvement. Leave blank if all students are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Alert Codes to select the desired alarm code(s) to view.
Class Period - A numeric value that indicates the period of the day a course is offered according to the Master Schedule Editor. To select all class periods leave the field blank or click in the field and select the check box at the top of the list of class periods; to select one or more class periods click in the field and select the desired class period(s) from the popup list.
Clubs - Extracurricular activities in which students may participate. Leave blank if all clubs are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Clubs to select the desired club(s) to view.
Cohort Year - Only use this area if you are making a list of certain year cohorts after having previously loaded the student's cohort year.
Column - List columns that are to be viewed on the report.
Counselor - Responsible for scheduling, testing, student grades and transcripts. Leave blank if all counselors are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Counselor to select the desired counselor(s) to view.
Disabilities - Identification via Special Education evaluation. Leave blank if all disabilities are to be included in the report. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of Disabilities to select the desired disabilities to view on the report.
Exceptionality - The area of functioning in which he or she is significantly different from an established norm.
Fee - To select all Fees either leave the field blank or click in the field and select the check box at the top of the list. To print the list of students that owe one or more (but not all) fees click the check box by each fee you want to include in the report.
From Date and To Date, Start Date and End Date - A set of dates that limits the selection of records for the report to a beginning date (from) and an ending date (to) range.
Homeroom - The teacher who is assigned a group of students in addition to the regular classes that they teach. Leave blank if all homerooms are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Homeroom to select the desired homeroom(s) to view.
Order To List/Print - Allows for the list to be sorted in the desired way upon clicking OK. The options for sorting include:
Advisor Order will sort/print the list first by Advisor name then alphabetically by the student's last name.
Alpha Order will sort/print the list alphabetically by the student's last name.
Classroom Order will sort/print the list first by classroom and then alphabetically by the student's last name.
Club Order will sort/print the list first by the student's club and then alphabetically by the student's last name.
Counselor Order will sort/print the list first by counselor name and then alphabetically by the student's last name.
Grade Order will sort/print the list alphabetically by the student's last name within the student's grade level.
Homeroom Order will sort/print the list first by homeroom teacher name and then alphabetically by the student's last name.
Period Order will sort/print the reports by class period order and then alphabetically by the student's last name.
Student Order is equivalent to sorting/printing in alpha order.
Zip Order sorts/prints students into zip code groups then alphabetically within each zip code group.
Print Break on Homeroom - This option will create a print break based on the homeroom order only.
Print Break on School - This is for district level users. On this report, students will be sorted alphabetically by school and printed on separate pages.
Program - Leave blank if all program codes are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Program Codes to select the desired program code(s) to view.
Room Number - leave the Room Number blank if all room numbers are to be included. Otherwise click in the box to the right of Room Number to select the room number(s) to be included.
SASID - The State Assigned Student ID number.
Semester - To select all semesters leave the field blank or click in the field and select the check box at the top of the list of semesters; to select one or more semesters click in the field and select the desired semester(s) from the popup list.
Show Option Buttons - Examples that limit information on the report include Show Sped Only, Non Sped, both (all); show 504 Only, Non 504, both (all); show LEP Only, Non LEP, both (all). Examples that indicate whether or not to include information on the report include show LEP, show counselor, show school name and show class period.
Show Remote Only - If this box is checked, the report will list only those students who come to your school from another school in the district.
Show Remote Scheduled - If this box is checked, then those students who come to your school from another school in the district will be listed in addition to regular students.
Show SSN - Show the social security number on the report
Sidno - List of students by Sidno for whom an Enrollment Status Form will be printed. Select one or more students or leave the field blank for all students or check the box at the top of the student list to select all students
Skip codes - Records that have the skipped codes will not be considered by the program.
Skip NR Students - This portion will not show students with entry code of NR.
Sports - Leave blank if all sports are to be included into the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Sports to select the desired sport(s) to view.
Students - This will generate a list of students to select from.
Team - This selection should only be used if your school is using Team Scheduling. Leave blank if all team names are to be included in the report. Otherwise click in the field to the right of Teams to select the desired Teams(s) to view.
Use SIS School - Check this item if your district uses SIS school for students.
