Homeroom/Advisor/Counselor Auto Loader

This program is an automatic loader for Homeroom/Advisor/Counselor. The loader information is set in the main setup box. A secondary selection box, Load by Class/Grading Period, will populate and the user can make selections to set up the load process for the Grade, Class Period,Semester, Day of Week.



  1. Select Student Master on the panel on the left side of the screen.
  2. Under Loaders, select Homeroom/Advisor/Counselor Auto Loader.
  3. If you need instructions for setup values to be used, follow the link for Standard Setup Options.
  4. The next items are not found on the standard setup options document.
  5. Print Break on Staff--This selection defaults to blank(not to Print Break on Staff). If the user needs the information to Print Break on Staff, place a check in the box.
  6. Load--User may click in the radio button to make the choice of Homeroom, Counselor, or Advisor.
  7. Load By--User may click in the radio button to make the choice of Glass/Grading Period or Teacher.
  8. Click Next to move to the Load By Class/Grading Period selection box.

Load By Class/Grading Period-The following selections to Load the students:

    • Grade--The cell defaults to blank- This will select all grades- If the user needs to make a grade selection, click in the cell and a Grade Selection box will populate. Make the grade selection by click in the box to the left of the grade. Click OK to move back to the Load By Class/Grading Period.
  1. Click OK to run the program. A dialog box will appear


NOTE--The iGear is available to view details of a student's absences.

Buttons at the bottom of the display

Setup--This allows you to change the values on the setup box without exiting the program.
Print--Use this button to print the report displayed on the screen. Refer to the instructions below for printing the report.
Help--This button links to the JCampus video and written instructions.


To Print this Report

  1. Click the Print button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML.
  3. The default print option will be PDF.
  4. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  5. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons.
  6. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear.
  7. Click the print button at the top left to print the report. Close the print preview.
