- Check and see if the fire wall was updated recently as this can block the messages from going out.
- For email traffic, the user does not need to worry about any other fields other than the "SMTP fields". Although, according to the way the district's email servers are set up, every SMTP field does not have to be populated so see G-Suite E-Mail Setup.

Q & A
- Q - What should be listed in the setup box for Network Information?
- A - In order for emails to go out, you need to enter your district's SMTP settings. The fields beginning with SMTP are the only ones you need to fill out. Your district's IT dept should be able to provide this information to you.
- Q - The IP Address that we had in the SMTP settings originally is 173.242.157.51, should this be replaced?
- A - That IP address is the JCampus cloud's IP address and not the SMTP server. Whatever your SMTP server external address or FQDN is, is what should be used.
Copy from current year to the next year - This will allow the user to copy the district's current year Sponsor Site settings to the upcoming school year.
Copy to selected school site(s) for the current year - This will allow you to copy one school's settings to another school for the current year. You can checkoff the specific information needed.
School Customization - This is for the selection of primary and secondary school colors and the school's website will allow for the colors to become part of the school's Student Progress Center site. Also, a watermark can be added to the Report Card.
School Images - This item is used to upload signatures into JCampus for use when printing diplomas. Related information: Upload School Images.
- Prior to getting started, the signature images will need to be uploaded to JDrive, the circle with the cloud in it at the top right of the screen. File extensions .png and .pdf will work but make sure the picture is cropped to just the signature and not a lot of extra space.
- Next go to System -> Entry -> Sponsor Site Editor. Once there, click on the Action button and select School Images.
- Then the Sponsor Site Editor Images pop up box will appear with the following header:
- View - Click to view the document that has been uploaded. If there isn't view icon, then a document hasn't been uploaded.
- Upload - Click to open the Save Image pop up box to add signature image.
- Title - This is the title of the school employees signature.
- Name - This is the name of the school employees signature.
- School - This is the school's district number.
- School Name - This is the name of the school.
Print Site Demographics - Refer to the print instructions below.
Clubs and Sports Manager - Use this item to update the list of clubs and sports at your school.
Mileage - Use this chart to enter the mileage between schools.
- Example: Enter 10 (for 10 miles) in the chart where schools 004 and 006 row and column meets. It will then also automatically add the 10 to where the schools 006 and 004 column and row meets. Now the HR Location Scanning Action>Staff>Travel Time Report will show 10 miles for the Mileage column when staff members check out of school 004 and into school 006.
Print Options
