Setting Up 2424 Summer School in JCampus

Flow… Sponsor Site > Calendar > Students > Master Schedule# Sponsor Site

    1. Current Year
      1. Action Button > Copy from current year to Summer School Year (2424)
        1. Automatically defaults to 2425
      2. In Sponsor Site, delete any unwanted sites for 2424
      3. Set grade levels on each site, if different
  1. Calendar
    1. In the current year, go to Action Button > Rollover to 2424
      1. Just roll over the 10 records (top)
    2. Enter Start and End Dates for Summer School
    3. Enter Start and End Times
    4. Add Holidays
  2. Students
    1. Two Options
      1. Obtain Feeder Students from 2324 > 2424
        1. Sending School and Receiving School
        2. SBLC Code of Retained/Promoted Pending Summer School
      2. Special Code (AS) or Program Code (Summer Bridge)
    2. If you mess up, there is an UNDO button
  3. Create Homerooms so teachers can post attendance
  4. Master Schedule
    1. Find staff by using the District Tab
    2. Course from Course Catalog
    3. Scheduling Students (2 ways)
      1. Use LOAD STUDENT SCHEDULES
      2. Student Schedule Maintenance to schedule one-by-one
  5. User Management (give teacher access)
    1. Give them access at Summer School Site but remember to remove them at the end of Summer School
    2. If teacher is currently assigned to the summer school site, no changes are necessary. Verify by changing setup to 2424.
    3. Mark all employees inactive for 2424 then activate only those who will be working summer school.
  6. Grades
    1. Post Grades by Student or Post Grades Master
      1. Most Summer Schools only have P1. Use the above programs to enter a Final Grade matching P1.
    2. Make sure to run EOY Closeout for High School Students
  7. Next School Loader – Roll 2424 to 2425
