  1. * = Failure due to attendance - When posting a marking period grade either through the WebGradebook, Post Grades Master, or Post Grades By Student, enter the numeric grade then the asterisk (*), then save. Note: This will add "Failure due to attendance" in the comments section of the report card.
  2. # = Failure due to district policy - This will appear next to a semester or final grade average in Post Grades Master if the student failed to meet the district's minimum requirements to pass for the semester or year. The # can also be entered in manually in the marking periods as well as the Sem/Final on Post Grade Master and Post Grades by Student.
