This program will provide a list of absent count(s) by school for unknown reasons. The count cells can be clicked to display the detailed list of students with their absence total.
- Select Attendance on the panel on the left side of the screen.
- Under Count, select Truancy S17-233.
If you need instructions for setup values to be used, follow the link for Standard Setup Options. The next items are not found on the standard setup options document:
- School Start Time - Time used for the start of school.
- Late to School Percentage- Percentage of the day used to determine late to school.
- Total Minutes of the Day - Total number of instructional minutes in the school day.
- Skip Late to Class Tardy Code 14 - Do not use the tardy code 14 for truancy determination.
- Include 5 Absents Only - Include a total of 5 absences only to determine truancy.
- Include 5 Absents or 5 Late to Class - Either one that a student has will be used to determine truancy.
- Include 5 absents/Late to Class - Both 5 absences and 5 late to class will be used to determine truancy.
- Click OK to move to the next screen.
