This report will give the count of Special Education students that are enrolled at a school, with Transportation Codes (what type of bus, and the description of what the student will need while riding the bus). Also the report give the Transportation Stops. (Regular stop, Nearest Corner or Curb-to-Curb)


Getting Started

  1. On the left, the Student Master panel should be open. Click on Count
  2. Under Count, select Special Ed Transportation Count and the setup box will appear.
  3. If you need instructions for setup values to be used, follow the link for Standard Setup Options.
  4. Click OK to move to the next screen.


Setup Options

Year--Defaults to the current year. A prior year may be accessed by clicking in the field and making the appropriate selection from the drop down list.
District--Default value is based on your security settings. You will be limited to your district only.
School--Default value is based on your security settings. If you are assigned to a school, the school default value will be your school site code. You will not be able to change this value. If you are a supervisor or other district office employee with access to the Student Information System, you will be able to run programs for one school, a small group of schools, or all schools in your district.
Grade--Grade level of students whose records need to be edited or whose names are to be included on a report. Leave the field blank if all grade levels are to be included. Otherwise, click in the field to the right of Grade(s) to select the desired grade level(s) to be included.
Gender--Gender of students whose records need to be edited or whose names are to be included on a report. Leave the field blank if both genders are to be included. Otherwise, click in the field to the right of Gender to select the desired gender to be included.
Ethnic--Ethnicity of students whose records need to be edited or whose names are to be included on a report. Leave the field blank if all ethnics are to be included. Otherwise, click in the field to the right of Ethnic to select the desired ethnic(s) to be included.
As-of-date--Limits the list to those students who are active as of the date selected.

Definition of Headers

School--School of enrollment of the student.
Site--Description of the school of enrollment of the student.
Enroll--Enrollment numbers of student.
01,02,......12--Lists the codes that a student will need for transportation. These codes are defined on the bottom of the page under the Print Legend tab.
Total Students--Total number of students enrolled at a particular school needing some type of special transportation to and from school.


Tabs at the Bottom of the information Page

Trans Codes--A description for the listings from 01-12 listing the codes for the corresponding numbers.
Trans Stops--A description for the listings of codes 18, 20 and 21.


To Print this Report

  1. Click the Print button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML.
  3. The default print option will be PDF.
  4. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  5. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons.
  6. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear.
  7. Click the print button at the top left to print the report. Close the print preview.
  8. Help--The Help button is not activated at this time.
  9. Print Legend--This legend corresponds with the tabs Trans Codes and Trans Stops.
