- * = Failure due to attendance - When posting a marking period grade either through the WebGradebook, Post Grades Master, or Post Grades By Student, enter the numeric value then the asterisk (*) then save. Note: This will add "Failure due to attendance" in the comments section of the report card.
- # = Failure due to district policy - This will appear next to a semester or final grade average in Post Grades Master if the student failed to meet the district's minimum requirements to pass for the semester or year.
- @ = Failure to exam violation - When posting an exam grade either through the WebGradebook, Post Grades Master, or Post Grades By Student, enter the numeric value then the @, and then save.
- ! = Overides system calculations - Any grade with this symbol added, will not let the system recalculate the associated grade. This applies to marking period, semester and final grades. This cannot be used on assignment grades in the WebGradebook.
