Login Screen - This screen is divided into two sections: the ORS section and the SPC section.
Turn ORS System On - Checking this box will turn the ONS system on based on the from and to dates. Unchecking this box will turn the system off.
Allow Current Year Selection - Checking this box will turn on the option for Allow Current Year Selection of the Online Registration System ON based on the From and To dates. Unchecking this box will turn off the option and hide the current year selection.
Allow Next Year Selection - Checking this box will turn on the option for Allow Next Year selection on the Online Registration System on based on the From and To dates. Unchecking this box will turn the Allow Next Year option off.
Allow Summer School Selection - Checking this box will turn on the option for Allow Summer School Selection of the Online Registration System ON based on the From and To dates. Unchecking this box will turn the Allow Summer School Selection option off.
ORS Rollover Date - Choose date of ORS rollover. This is not your typical roll over program. It gets the years that are available in the registration records so users are able to update registration records that were created for the "Next Year" but should not have been.
Process Current Application From and To Dates - Choose dates for processing current year applications.
Process Next Year Applications From and To Dates - Choose dates for processing next year applications.
Process Summer School Applications From and To Dates - Choose dates for processing summer school applications.

Q & A
Q: I used the following setup for ORS registration:
- Allow Current Year Selection from 2/28/21 to 6/30/21
- Allow Next Year Selection from 7/1/21 to 8/10/21
But it seems EVERY student has been registered in the 20/21 school year. Should I change the current school year to have the same beginning/ending date because we don't want anyone registering in the 20/21 school year? And, then change the next school year to be 3/11/21 to 8/10/21?
A: Yes, and think of the dates just like you were sitting at a school.
- Allow students to register in the current year until the last day of the school year.
- But if someone came in today and wanted to register for next school year, let them also.
- Remember this is NOT an enrollment but only an intent to enroll so set the next year start date to today.
- Now, remember the Online Registration System can stay on all year. Just as a student can enroll in this current school year until the last day of school, they can for next year also.
- I would not turn off the Online Registration system on the first day of school as I would push it until the last day.
