Completing the Control Panel sections is required before implementing the Online Registration System (ORS).

Sections of the Control Panel--these appear as tabs at the top of the Control Panel screen.

Login Tab--There are three areas of this section: Login Screen, Instructions, SPC Login Instructions
- Login Screen--This is where you 'turn on' the ORS system, set the date range for processing new applications, and enter information for allowing the next year's ORS to become active.
- Instructions--This is the area where you enter the information to display on the homepage of the district's ORS system.
- Use the Tabs at the top of the Control Panel to set up how each piece of the information sections of ORS will look. Each tab has a check box to Disable this information set for ORS and/or SPC.
- SPC Login Instructions--In this section enter the instructions for parents that will display on the Student Progress Center website.
Welcome Tab--Enter instructions for parents that provide step-by-step instructions of navigating through the ORS for a student/child registering in the parish/district for the first time.

If district has rules in place for not allowing changes in demographic fields (from Control Panel > Student tab > Name is Disabled for SPC) make sure update to SPC follows them and does not allow changes to LName, FName, MName, Suffix, BDay, SSN, Ethnic, SecEthnic, Grade if is true
