How-to

  1. Log into WebPams
    In the middle of the screen is the "Notifications" area where an user with an AD security profile at the school or district level can post messages for employees to read. To create a notification, click on the icon below "Welcome" that looks like a sheet of paper with a yellow asterisk
  2. Once the "Notification Editor" is on the screen, "Country", "State", and "District" should be set based on security. If a user is at the school level, "School" will be defaulted as well. For district level users, "School" will be blank. To show the message to all schools, select all schools in the school selection list. Otherwise, select only the desired schools to send message to from list
  3. In the "Title" field, type a brief description of the message
  4. Set the "End Date" to the date to be removed from view in the notification area
  5. Type the message in the "Message" area
  6. Click "Save" when the message is complete
  7. The message will appear immediately in the notifications area. 700 users will only see messages created for school 700. To see messages for all schools, regardless of the end date, check the box labeled "Show all school notes"
  8. To edit an existing message, click the icon to the right of the notification title that looks like a pencil and paper
  9. To delete an existing message, click on the icon to the right of the edit icon that looks like a recycle bin
