This program provides the user a way to build export data for LaGearUp (Louisiana Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs). It is supported by the U.S. Department of Education, which gives grants to states or institutions of higher learning to create partnerships with high-poverty middle or high schools.

Setup Options

Year - Defaults to the current year. A prior year may be accessed by clicking in the field and making the appropriate selection from the drop down list.

District - Default value is based on the user’s security settings. The user will be limited to their district only.

School - Default value is based on the user's security settings. If the user is assigned to a school, the school default value will be their school site code.

Grade - Leave blank or select all to include all grade levels. Otherwise, choose the desired grade level.

From Date and To Date - A set of dates that limits the selection of records for the report to a beginning date (from) and an ending date (to) range.

OK - Click to continue.

StudentID - Student school identification number.

District - Student district code.

LastName - Student's last name.

FirstName - Student's first name.

MI - Student' middle name.

Gender - Student's gender.

DateofBirth - Student's date of birth.

Nickname - Student's nickname

Phone - Student's home phone number.

EMail - Student's email address.

Address - Student's street address.

City - Student city.

State - Student state

Zip - Student zip code.

BusRoute - Student bus route.

StudentMedicalProblem - Student medical problem (Yes-1, No-2).

EthnicityCode - Student ethnicity code.

EnglishTeacherEmail - Email of english teacher.

IdentifiesWithHomeless - Identifies the student as homeless (Yes-1, No-0).

HomelessReasonCode - Homeless reason code/Federal categories.

HomelessReasonDescription - Homeless reason description/Federal categories.

HomelessUnaccompaniedYouth - Homeless unaccompannied youth (Yes-1, No-0).

Courses in transcript groups 1, 3 and 5 or with honor field codes of C, H, J, K, V, 4, 6, 7 or 9 are included.

Column Headers

RegistrationID - Not not use-for upload only.

StudentID - Student school identification number.

StateStudentID - Student state identification number.

GradeDate - Date the numeric or custom grade was given.

SchoolYear - Academic school year the grade was given.

GradingPeriod - Grade period within the school year the grade is for.

Subject - Name of the subject or course the grade is for.

AcadGrade - Numeric or custom academic grade given to the student.

NumericGrade - Numeric or custom academic grade given to the student.

CreditsEarned - Credits earned.

LastName - Student last name.

FirstName - Student first name.

StudentGradeLevel - Student grade level.

SchoolName - School name.

Notes - Add notes.

Column Headers

StudentID - Student school identification number.

TestName - Name of test.

SubTestName - Sub-categories of the main test name, usually describing specific topics.

ScoreType - Describes the type of score for the test and sub test.

TestScore - Numeric or custom score the student received on the test.

TestDate - Date the test was administered.

SchoolYear - Academic school year in which the test was administered.

LastName - Student last name.

FirstName - Student first name.

StudentGradeLevel - Student grade level.

SchoolName - School name.
