How-to

  1. Log into WebPams
  2. On the left, the Student Master panel should be open. Click on "Lists"
  3. Under "Lists", select "Alpha/Recruit List"
  4. On the setup box
    • Select the desired "Year"
    • "District" and "School" should be defaulted based on security. If 700 user, select the desired school to view
    • “Arena” should be left blank if all arenas are to be included into the report. Otherwise click in the box to the right of “Arena” to select the desired arena to be included
    • In "Letter Name", select the name of the letter to see which students have had that letter printed out for them and when
    • In the "Sidno" field, select the student to see which letters have been printed out for them and when
    • “Grade” should be left blank if all grade levels are to be included into the report. Otherwise click in the box to the right of “Grade” to select the desired grade level to be included
    • “Gender” should be left blank if both genders are to be included into the report. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of “Gender” to select the desired gender to be included
    • “Ethinc” should be left blank if all ethnicities are to be included into the report. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of “Ethnic” to select the desired ethnicities to be included
    • If "Show Remote Scheduled" is checked, those students who are remotely scheduled will appear on the list
    • “From Date” and “To Date” should be set so that the desired date range for when letters were printed is selected
    • "Special Codes" will only display students who have the special code selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of special code
    • "Team Codes" will only display students who are on the team selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of team
    • For “Show”, select if you would like to include all students, special ed students only, or regular ed students only on the report
    • "Homeroom" will only display students who are in the homeroom teacher's class selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of homeroom teacher
    • "Counselor" will only display students who are apart of the counselor's group that has been selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of counselor
    • "Club" will only display students who are in the club selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of club
    • "Sport" will only display students who are in the sport selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of sport
  5. Click "OK" after all fields of the setup box have been set as desired. A list of students will appear based on the settings of the setup box. The list will be of students who have had letters printed out for them
  6. All list programs are numbered along the left side so you can see a total.
  7. By clicking on down arrow on the right side of any column header, additional options are available to you
    • "Sort Ascending" - alpha order
    • "Sort Descending" - reverse alpha order
    • "Configure Sort" - allows you to do a custom sort by multiple columns
      1. "Clear Sort" - Clears the "Configure Sort"
    • "Auto fit all Columns" - allows you to adjust all columns’ width to fit the text in each field automatically
    • "Auto Fit" – does the same but only in the column you are working on
    • "Column" - allows you to hide columns by unchecking the columns you do not want to see
    • "Group By" - when grouping, all items are sorted and then collapsed into drop down items to make the information easier to access in an organized fashion. It is an expanded level of sorting
      1. "Ungroup" - Clears the "Group By"
    • Freeze - allows you to keep a chosen column stationary while scrolling from left to right
  8. By clicking "Print", you will be given a box that allows you to make a choice of saving or printing in different formats
    • By highlighting rows within the list and then clicking print, the rows highlighted will be the only rows printed
    • Click + Drag
    • Control + Click
