Posting Student Major/Minor Discipline Video
All referrals are broken down into two categories, Minor and Major.
Minor referrals are those referrals that are predominately done by teachers and Code 6 Referred to the office under the "Action Taken By Teacher ..." is not marked on Referral Page 2.
- The student`s name will be a light pumpkin color in the Discipline Posting, "Find Referral" list to signify it is a Minor referral. This signifies that the Teacher Action that was chosen was anything other than code `06` on Ref page 2 AND also the referral does not have an Admin Action on the Admin page.
- If the referral is a Minor and Code 6 is not checked on referral Page 2, it will send a call to the parents immediately when the referral is created.
- If the referral is a Minor and Code 6 is checked on Referral Page 2 making it a Major, no call is made to parents until the Administrative Action has been added on the Admin page.
Major referrals are those that have been marked Code 06 Referred to the office under the "Action Taken By Teacher ..." on referral page 2.
- Normally an email is sent to the administrator when this occurs.
Major referral is also when administrators have taken action by adding information on the Admin page of the referral using "Action Taken by Administrator".
- If the referral is a Major, it immediately sends a call to parents when the referral is created.
