These instructions will show you how to generate an attendance letter parents of students in your school.

How to

  1. Login to WebPams.
  2. Select Attendance from program area on the left of the screen.
  3. Select Lists.
  4. Under Lists, select Attendance Parent Letters.
  5. The Setup Box will appear on the screen.


Setup Box Options

  1. Verify Year, District, and School. These default values are based on your security settings.
  2. Enter the From Date using either the month/day/year fields or the calendar icon to the right of the year field.
  3. Enter the To Date using either the month/day/year fields or the calendar icon to the right of the year field.
  4. Select Grade. Leave the Grade field blank if all grade levels are to be included. Otherwise click in the box to the right of Grade to select the desired grade level(s) to be included.
  5. Enter Quantity From - minimum days absent
  6. Enter Quantity To - maximum days absent
  7. Select Include Codes. These are attendance codes that you want to be considered for the report.
  8. Enter the Letter to be used. This letter is generated from Letter Maintenance.
  9. Check Print History if the attendance history is to be included with the letter.
  10. Click OK to move to the next screen.

Definitions of Column Headers 1. The following columns are self-explanatory:  Name  Sidno  Grade  Homeroom  School

    2.  Definition of remaining column
               Amount --Number of days corresponding to the codes selected.

 If letters need to be printed, check the select all box to the left of "Name" for all students or check individual students.  After click Print Letters 1. The letters and/or History will appear on the screen. 2. Click "Print " to print letters
