Before entering RTI information on students, Tiers, Categories, and Interventions need to be configured for the district or school site.

  • Consult with your District Coordinator for further information on whether these are set by the district, or at the school level.

Tier/Category/Intervention Setup

  1. Prior to entering a RTI referral you MUST create the related categories and interventions for each tier.
  1. Click on the Action button at the top right of the window.
  2. Select RTI Tier-Cat Editor
  3. A popup will appear. Use the top blank line to add a category and interventions for a particular tier.
  4. The District and Sch will default to your district and school based on your security settings.
  5. Click in the Tier cell and select the appropriate tier number (1, 2, or 3).
  6. Click in the Category cell and make your selection from the drop down list.
  7. Click in the Intervention cell and make your selection from the drop down list.
  8. Click the Save cell at the end of the top line to save the new tier/category/intervention set.
  9. A new line will be displayed.
  10. Repeat for each additional tier/category/intervention set.
