Select SBLC Codes

To enter an SBLC Code, fist select the student. The SBLC Code is located on the right side of Student Master.

To sort the Promoted/Retained SBLC Codes, select on the Description column header. This will put all of the Promoted SBLC codes together and all of the Retained SBLC codes together.

Promoted

  • O Promoted - Administrative Assignment
  • 4 Promoted - Appeal Granted
  • Q Promoted - Due to Limited Retention
  • G Promoted - Failed LEAP - Option 3 HS GED Path
  • 14 Promoted - Grade 8 to Transitional 9th
  • 7 Promoted - IEP Decision
  • C Promoted - Pending Course Credit
  • 15 Promoted - Pending Results from Test Scores
  • S Promoted - Pending Summer School
  • P Promoted - Placed by School Committee - SBLC
  • 2 Promoted - Placed in Options HS Campus
  • 3 Promoted - Placed in Pre-Employ MS Campus
  • I Promoted - Placed in Intervention
  • 8 Promoted - Summer Remediation Recommended but not required
  • R Promoted - To Grade 5 Passed Coursework and LEAP
  • M Promoted - To Grade 5 Without Basic/Approaching Basin on LEAP
  • K Promoted - To Grade 6 Passed Coursework and LEAP
  • U Promoted - To Next Grade Without Achieving LEAP Requirements
  • 10 Promoted - Transition 9th to Grade 10
  • 9 Promoted - Transition 9th to Grade 9


Retained

  • X Retained - Decision by School Committee - SBLC
  • V Retained - Due to Attendance Violation
  • B Retained - Due to Parental Request
  • N Retained - Failed both Academic and LEAP
  • 12 Retained - Failed IBC Credential Exam
  • E Retained - Failed LEAP - Option 1 Elementary Grade 8
  • H Retained - Failed LEAP - Option 2 HS Campus
  • T Retained - Failed to Pass Exit Exam (Seniors)
  • L Retained - Failure of State Testing - LEAP Grade 4
  • 1 Retained - Failure of State Testing - LEAP Grade 8
  • 6 Retained - Foreign Exchange Non Graduate
  • 13 Retained - IEP Decision
  • J Retained - In Grade 8 on High School Campus
  • D Retained - Insufficient Carnegie Units (Seniors)
  • W Retained - Insufficient Grade Information to Promote
  • 11 Retained - Pending Summer Remediation
  • Z Retained - Pending Summer School
  • Y Retained - Promoted to Next Option 3 GED Level
  • F Retained - Student Not Promoted

NOTE - If a student has an SBLC code, that code will print on the students report card.
