Ethnic/Gender By Teacher/Class video


This report will show you how to create a report that provides the ethnic/gender counts by teacher and by class.


  1. Select Scheduling from the list of program areas on the left of the screen.
  2. Select Select Count.
  3. Select Eth/Gender by Teacher/Class


Setup Box

To find definitions for standard setup values, follow this link: Standard Setup Options.

For other set up values not listed in the standard set up list:

  1. Selecting Include Remote Students will count students from other schools that are scheduled into classes that are Remote classes. Uncheck this option if you only want counts of students enrolled in your school.
  1. Order by option allows the report to be sorted either by Teacher or by Course.
  2. Click OK to move to the next screen.


Definitions of Column Headers

To find definitions of commonly used column headers, follow this link: Common Column Headers.

For other columns not listed in the common column list:

Rem--Whether or not the class is offered remotely to other schools; field is blank if it is not a remote class; Y will be in the field if the class is remotely offered.
Female (0--5)--Count of females in the class by ethnicity (0--white, 1--black, 2--Hispanic, 3--Asian, 4--Native American/Alaskan Native, 5--Hawaiian/Pacific Islander)
Female Total--Total count of all females in the class
Male (0--5)--Count of males in the class by ethnicity (0--white, 1--black, 2--Hispanic, 3--Asian, 4--Native American/Alaskan Native, 5--Hawaiian/Pacific Islander)
Male Total--Total count of all males in the class
Total--Total count of all students in the class
State Code--State course code.


The report order will be based on the selection in the setup box. Once the report is displayed you may click on any column header and re-sort the report.


Buttons at the bottom of the window

  1. Setup--Click this button to return to the setup box in order to change your setup options without exiting the program.
  2. Print---Click the print button to start the printing process.
  1. To print this report click the print button at the bottom of the screen. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  2. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear; click the print button at the top left to print the report. Close the print preview.
