How-to

  1. Log into WebPams
  2. On the left, the Student Master panel should be open. Click on "Lists"
  3. Under "Lists", select "Birthday List"
  4. On the setup box
    • Select the desired "Year"
    • "District" and "School" should be defaulted based on security
    • “Grade” should be left blank if all grade levels are to be included into the report. Otherwise click in the box to the right of “Grade” to select the desired grade level to be included
    • "Order By" allows for the list to be sorted in the desired way upon clicking "OK". The options for sorting are:
      1. "Alpha" will sort the list alphabetically by the student's last name
      2. "Grade" will sort the list alphabetically by the student's last name within the student's grade level
      3. "Date" will sort the list first by birth date and then alphabetically by the student's last name
        • If "Date" is selected, an option to "Sort By" is available below. Choose to either sort by "Year" or to sort by "Month"
    • The "As of Date" limits the list to only those students who are active on the date selected
    • For "Choose", select either "Option 1" or "Option 2". These choices refer to the options below:
      1. "Option 1 - Within Date Range" asks for a date range to search within. Be sure to change the year
      2. "Option 2 - Specific Month and/or Day Range" allows for a month to be chosen, regardless of year, to search within
        • Check "Use Day" to set a day range within the month selected
  5. Click "OK" after all fields of the setup box have been set as desired. A list of students with birthdays based on the settings of the setup box will appear
  6. All list programs are numbered along the left side so you can see a total.
  7. By clicking on down arrow on the right side of any column header, additional options are available to you
    • "Sort Ascending" - alpha order
    • "Sort Descending" - reverse alpha order
    • "Configure Sort" - allows you to do a custom sort by multiple columns
      1. "Clear Sort" - Clears the "Configure Sort"
    • "Auto fit all Columns" - allows you to adjust all columns’ width to fit the text in each field automatically
    • "Auto Fit" – does the same but only in the column you are working on
    • "Column" - allows you to hide columns by unchecking the columns you do not want to see
    • "Group By" - when grouping, all items are sorted and then collapsed into drop down items to make the information easier to access in an organized fashion. It is an expanded level of sorting
      1. "Ungroup" - Clears the "Group By"
    • Freeze - allows you to keep a chosen column stationary while scrolling from left to right
  8. By clicking "Print", you will be given a box that allows you to make a choice of saving or printing in different formats
    • By highlighting rows within the list and then clicking print, the rows highlighted will be the only rows printed
    • Click + Drag
    • Control + Click
