This document provides instructions on how to generate a list of conflicts between attendance and ISS/OSS records.


  1. Select Attendance from program area on the left of the screen.
  2. Select Lists.
  3. Under Lists, select Suspension Attendance Audit All.
  4. The Setup Box will appear on the screen.


Setup Box Option

  • Verify Year, District, and School. These default values are based on your security settings.
  • Select Grade. Leave the Grade field blank if all grade levels are to be included. Otherwise click in the box to the right of “Grade” to select the desired grade level(s) to be included.
  • Click the check box for Active Only. If you leave this box unchecked, students that have exited your school will be listed on the report.
  • Enter the From Date using either the month/day/year fields or the calendar icon to the right of the year field.
  • Enter the To Date using either the month/day/year fields or the calendar icon to the right of the year field.
  • Select whether or not to Show Remote Only.
    • If your school does NOT offer any remote classes, this feature does not apply.
    • As a school that offers remote classes, by checking this box the list of students will be those from other schools in your district that attend classes on your campus. Students from your school will not be on the list if this box is checked.
  • Click Ok to move to the next screen.


Instructions continued:

  1. This program will provide two types of information on two different screens:
    • Unposted: Discipline records for suspensions (ISS or OSS) will be listed for which there are no non-attendance records in the attendance file. You can use this program to post these non-attendance.
    • Errors: Discipline records that are identified as having some sort of error such as absence record with incorrect absence code, no discipline record for absence code in attendance file, student leave date before absentee record date or student entry date is after absentee record date.
  2. On the Unposted screen, click the Post Attendance button to create the attendance record(s) that are missing.
  3. On the Errors screen if there is a red D in the right column on the Errors screen, you can click in the cell to delete the attendance record. After clicking in the red cell, you will get a confirmation popup. Respond appropriately; either Ok or Cancel.
  4. Review the error description on the report to decide what needs to be changed in the discipline file. You cannot edit the discipline records here. You must correct these in the discipline posting program.


Print

  1. Either list can be printed.
  2. To print either screen click the print button at the bottom of the screen. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  3. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear; click the print button at the top left to print the report. Close the print preview.
