Consecutive Absence Report

This program displays a list of students with a specific number of consecutive absences as indicated in the setup box values. The program will also provide a means of printing letters to parents/guardians notifying them of their child's attendance status. To print a letter requires a letter to be created in the Letters module under the student Master section of JCampus software.

1. Select Attendance on the panel on the left side of the screen.
2. Under Lists, select Consecutive Absence Report.
3. If you need instructions for setup values to be used, follow the link for Standard Setup Options.
4. The next items are not found on the standard setup options document.
   • Absences--Enter the number of consecutive absences and then select either of the following conditions to the number of absences entered here
     • greater than or equal (>=)
     • equal (=)
     • less than or equal (<=)
   • Select the Letter to be printed. The available list of letters comes from the Letters module under the Student Master section on the left side of the screen.
5. Click OK to move to the next screen.

NOTE--The iGear is available to view details of a student's absences.

Definitions of Column Headers

Select box--Click the check box for individual students that need to have a letter printed or select the box at the top of the display to select all students at one time if they are all to receive a letter

School--Site code of the school in which the student is enrolled

Last Name--Student's last name

First Name--Student's first name

Middle Name--Student's middle name

Sidno--local ID of the student

Ethnic--Ethnicity of the student

Gender--Gender of the student

Days--number of consecutive days absent

Mother--Mother's name

Mother Home--Mother's home phone number

Mother Cell--Mother's cell phone number

Father--Father's name

Father Home--Father's home phone number

Father Cell--Father's cell phone number

Guardian--Guardian's name

Guardian Home--Guardian's home phone number

Guardian Cell--Guardian's cell phone number
