How-to

  1. Log into WebPams
  2. On the left, the Student Master panel should be open. Click on "Lists"
  3. Under "Lists", select "Alpha/Recruit List"
  4. On the setup box
    • Select the desired "Year"
    • "District" and "School" should be defaulted based on security
    • Below "Year" is the option to "Skip Opt Out Stus". By checking this option, student's who have asked not to be placed on public lists will not be placed on the list that is created. This option can be found in "Student Master" on the "Permissions" tab
    • For security purposes, the social security number will not be displayed on the Alpha/Recruiter List. To have the social security number appear on the list, check the box "Show SSN on report"
    • “Grade” should be left blank if all grade levels are to be included into the report. Otherwise click in the box to the right of “Grade” to select the desired grade level to be included
    • “Gender” should be left blank if both genders are to be included into the report. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of “Gender” to select the desired gender to be included
    • “Ethnic” should be left blank if all ethnicities are to be included into the report. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of “Ethnic” to select the desired ethnicities to be included
    • "Order To List" allows for the list to be sorted in the desired way upon clicking "OK". The options for sorting are:
      1. "Alpha Order" will sort the list alphabetically by the student's last name
      2. "Grade Order" will sort the list alphabetically by the student's last name within the student's grade level
      3. "Homeroom Order" will sort the list first by homeroom teacher name and then alphabetically by the student's last name
      4. "Counselor Order" will sort the list first by counselor name and then alphabetically by the student's last name
    • If "Print Break on Homeroom" is checked, Order to List will change to Homeroom Order and when the list is printed, each homeroom teacher will be printed separately
    • If "Show Remote Scheduled Only" is checked, only those students who are remotely scheduled will appear on the list
    • If "Skip NR Students" is checked, students with entry code of "NR" will not appear on the list
    • The "As of Date" limits the list to only those students who are active on the date selected
    • "Special Codes" will only display students who have the special code selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of special code
    • "Team Codes" will only display students who are on the team selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of team
    • For “Show”, select if you would like to include all students, special ed students only, or regular ed students only on the report
    • "Homeroom" will only display students who are in the homeroom teacher's class selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of homeroom teacher
    • "Counselor" will only display students who are apart of the counselor's group that has been selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of counselor
    • "Club" will only display students who are in the club selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of club
    • "Sport" will only display students who are in the sport selected. Leave blank to list all students regardless of sport
    • Enter the desired name of the report in "Report Title" to have that name printed at the top of the list
  5. Click "OK" after all fields of the setup box have been set as desired.
  6. A list of students with other demographic information will appear based on the settings of the setup box. All list programs are numbered along the left side so you can see a total.
  7. By clicking "Print", you will be given a box that allows you to make a choice of saving or printing in different formats
    • By highlighting rows within the list and then clicking print, the rows highlighted will be the only rows printed
    • Click + Drag
    • Control + Click
