To create a new account, you must be a district user.
New accounts are created via the Action button at the top right of the Post Transaction screen. Site 700 is the default site value which gives all schools access to the account. A Beginning Balance record must be created in order for the school to see it in their list of available accounts.
When the new account is created there will be an internal audit to verify whether or not the account number is currently in use by one or more schools or already exists in the site 700 list of accounts. You will not be able to save a new account if the chosen account number is already in use.
