This program will import the UID file created by eScholar for students AND teachers (staff). Always send a full file at the beginning of the year.
Here is the complete process:
- Adding Staff IDs to JCampus:
- Use the .txt file (not the Excel file) in the FTP site from LDOE as it should be in the 3.0 format and have staff unique IDs in the file.
- Import the escholar 3.0 formatted text file (not xls) using the Required Reporting> Import > LA UID Mass Import FIle.
- The program knows the difference between the student and staff files.
- Check off "Only With UID Staff " for the first export, work errors and for the next export use "Only No UID Staff."
- The LA Student UID Mass Export File or LA Staff UID Mass Export File will build a file and then the user will send it to eScholar.
- Then the user would get that file back from eScholar which now has the student's SASIDs or the teacher's UIDs added to the file.
- Import that file back into our system by using the LA UID Mass Import File.
