How-to
The purpose of the Part Number is for two possible situations:
- The student needs to retake the first semester of a full credit course but can only be scheduled into a second semester time slot. This course would need the part number of 1 to be entered into the transcript record.
- If the student takes the second semester of a full credit course but can only be scheduled into a first semester time slot, then a 2 would be entered in the transcript record.
Entering Part Number for half credit courses earned of a full credit course
- Log in to WebPams
- Select Transcripts from the list of program areas on the left of the screen.
- Under Entry select Transcript Workstation.
- Select a student’s transcript using the Find button.
- Locate the course that needs the part number entered and click the S (save) cell at the far right of the row.
- A new window will pop up on the screen with information related to credit pursued, credit earned, credit site, etc.
- The Part No field is on the right of the credit earned (CE) field. Enter the semester number (1 or 2) in which the course is usually taken. #*If the student is taking the class in semester 1, then the part number would be entered on the S1 line.
- Click the Save button
