How to
These instructions will provide step-by-step procedures for calculating the semester and final averages for a single class.
- Login to WebPams.
- Select Grades in the left navigation pane
- The Entry area will already be expanded.
- Select Post Grades Master.
- At the setup box, verify the Year, School. These will be defaulted based on your security settings.
- Select the Grade(s) of students with which you need to work.
- Semester to Display Scheduled Students: set 4x4 to All and 2x8 to Both as shown below (default).
- Semester Grade Calculation Requirement: Most districts set to All Marking Period Grades Within Semester.
- Grade Posting Mode: Set to Report Card Mode. This is required in order for averages to be calculated.
- Show Dropped Students: Select if the user wishes to see averages for students who have dropped the class. These students will appear “grayed out” at the bottom of the roster of students.
- Click the OK button to begin.
- In the lower left of the screen, select the desired Teacher, and Course. The students and resulting grades should display on the screen.
- Click the Save icon at the top right on the toolbar.
