How to

This program will allow you to view/edit a variety of existing test scores such as GEE, LEAP, ACT, etc. You may also enter scores manually instead of importing them.

  1. Log in to WebPams
  2. Select Grades from the program list on the left
  3. Click on Entry
  4. Select Test Score Editor


Set up Box

  1. Verify Year, District, and School. These default values are based on your security settings.
  2. Select Grade. Leave the Grade field blank if all grade levels are to be included. Otherwise click in the box to the right of “Grade” to select the desired grade level(s) to be included.
  3. Select Gender. Leave the Gender field blank if both genders are to be included. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of Gender to select the desired gender to be included.
  4. Select Ethnic. Leave the Ethnic field blank if all ethnicities are to be included. Otherwise, click in the box to the right of Ethnic to select the desired ethnicities to be included.
  5. Select Special Code(s) to limit the list of students based on special codes. Special Codes must have been entered into the Student Master record for students. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the special code(s) list or leave the field blank. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that do not have a special code.
  6. Select Program Code to limit the list of students based on their program code. If you select ALL or if you leave the field blank, all test scores that have been previously entered will be displayed. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the program code list or leave the field blank. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that do not have a special code.
  7. Select Team Code(s). This selection should only be used if your school is using Team Scheduling. Click in the field and a list of teams is displayed. Click the check box to the left of the team(s) you want to display. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the teams list. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that have not been assigned to a team.
  8. Select Homeroom to restrict scores to a group of students in a specific homeroom or homerooms. Click in the field and a list of homeroom teachers will be displayed. Click the check box to the left of the Homeroom teacher(s) you want to display. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the homeroom teacher(s) list. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that do not have been assigned to a homeroom teacher.
  9. Select Counselor to restrict scores to a group of students assigned a specific counselor or counselors. Click in the field and a list of counselors will be displayed. Click the check box to the left of the counselor you want to display. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the counselor list or leave the field blank. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that do not have been assigned to a counselor.
  10. Select Club to restrict scores to a group of students based on club membership. Clubs must have been entered into the Student Master record for students. Click in the field and a list of clubs will be displayed. Click the check box to the left of the club you want to display. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the club list or leave the field blank. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that do not have club membership on their student master record.
  11. Select Sport to restrict scores to a group of students based on Sports team roster. Sport teams must have been entered into the Student Master record for students. Click in the field and a list of sports will be displayed. Click the check box to the left of the sport you want to display. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the sport list or leave the field blank. Selecting the box beside the blank line will select students that do not have a sports team on their student master record.
  12. Select Order to List. The choices are Alpha, Grade, Homeroom, or Counselor.
  13. The Print on Order option becomes available for all options except Alpha Order. This option allows for page breaks between grades, homeroom teachers, counselors, advisors, and teams. Page break for Alpha Order is automatic based on number of students that fit to a page.
  14. Select the As-of-Date. This represents active students as of the date you choose. It usually defaults to the current date.
  15. The Show Sped selection allows you to restrict your list of students to All, Sped Only, or Non Sped.
  16. The Show 504 selection allows you to restrict your list of students to All, 504 Only, or non 504.
  17. The Student field allows you to select a single student, a group of students or all students. To select a single student click in the field for a list of students. To select all students click the check box to the left of Value at the top of the student list or leave the field blank. Selecting the check box beside the blank line will select all students.
  18. Select Test Type to List. The available test types are Gee 21, LEAP 21, ACT, SAT, National, iLEAP, Plan, Explore, LAA1, LAA2, EOC, SAT-SUBJ. Leaving the selection field blank or selecting ALL will give you results for all Test Types.
  19. Select the Test Month. To restrict the list of student scores requires the selection of a specific month. If you select ALL or if you leave the field blank, all test scores that have been previously entered will be displayed.
  20. Select Test Year. To restrict the list of student scores requires the selection of a specific year. If you select ALL or if you leave the field blank, all test scores that have been previously entered will be displayed.
  21. Checking the High Score Only will give the highest score only for students that have taken GEE21 tests multiple times. If you select High Score Only you will not be able to edit any scores.
  22. Click OK to move to the next screen.

How to edit an existing score/level

After completing the setup box and clicking OK, students that meet the setup box criteria will be displayed on the screen. Follow the next set of steps to edit the score/level of a student.

  1. To edit an existing score, scroll through the list of students to find the student that needs to be edited.
  2. Click in the appropriate score field to the right of the student's name. The existing score will be highlighted.
  3. Replace the existing score with the correct score.
  4. Click the Save cell found at the right of the student's ID number.
  5. A Record Saved message will appear on the screen. Click OK.
  6. To edit an existing level, scroll through the list of students to find the student that needs to be edited.
  7. Click in the appropriate level field to the right of the student's name. This will give access to a drop down list.
  8. Click on the down arrow to see the list.
  9. Use a single left mouse click to select the level.
  10. A Record Saved message will appear on the screen. Click OK.
  11. Click the Save cell found at the right of the student's ID number.


How to enter a new score/level

After completing the setup box and clicking OK, the student(s) that meet(s) the setup box criteria will be displayed on the screen.

If the student for which new scores/levels are to be entered has never taken the test you can edit them using the steps above.

If the student for which new scores/levels are to be entered has already taken the test at least once, use the following steps to enter this new data.

  1. Be sure to enter the student's name on the setup box in the Student field. If necessary you can click the setup button at the bottom of the screen if the student's name is not on the screen.
  2. The screen should display any test scores of the student based on whether or not the student has previously taken any tests and whether or not those tests meet the setup criteria.
  3. The top line will be blank. If it is not blank return to the setup box and verify settings.
  4. To find a student that needs new scores entered, click on the Student ID field on the top blank line.
  5. Scroll through the list and click the check box to the left of the student's name.
  6. This will populate the District, School, Student Name, D.O.B. and Test fields on the top line.
  7. You may click the Save cell at this time and complete the remainder of the steps to enter scores on the new record that will be created by this step.
  8. Click the MO (month) field and select the appropriate month from the list.
  9. Click the Year field and select the appropriate year from the list.
  10. Click the GD (grade) field. For GEE21 students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 you MUST select HS.
  11. Scroll to the right and enter the score/level for each of the new scores.
  12. You MUST click the Save cell or the information will be 'lost'.
