Student Permission Loader video


This program will allow you to select "Yes" from the list on the right to grant permission or select "No" from the list on the right to deny permission.


  1. Select Student Master in the program list on the left side of the screen.
  2. Select Loaders.
  3. Select Student Permissions Loader.
  4. If you need instructions for setup values to be used, follow the link for Standard Setup Options.
  5. Select whether to Show All, Yes only, or No only.
  6. Click Ok to move to the next screen.


Definitions of Column Headers

  • School--Site that the student attends
  • Sidno--Local ID number
  • Student Name--Name of student
  • Gd--Grade level of the student
  • Homeroom--Teacher to which the student has been assigned for homeroom purposes
  • Vid--Yes/No permission to video/photograph the student
  • Eval--Yes/No permission to evaluate the student
  • Lev--Yes/No permission for the student to leave campus
  • Inva--Yes/No permission for non-invasive research of the student
  • Inte--Yes/No permission for the student to access Internet while on campus
  • Pub--Remove child from public lists
  • Emr--Yes/No permission for emergency/routine medical evaluation of the student
  • Drm--Yes/No permission for dorm counselor/teacher to evaluate student relative to medical needs
  • Visn--Yes/No permission for vision screening of the student
  • Dent--Yes/No permission for dental examination of the student
  • Tub--Yes/No permission to administer tuberculosis test to the student
  • Acs--Yes to deny or block parents/guardians from the Student Progress Center and No to permit ALL parents/guardians access to see information on the Student Progress Center.
  • OTC--Over the counter medication permission
  • Bus--Bus transportation to Health Unit
  • Use--Acceptable use policy
NOTE To grant or to deny any one parent or guardian permission to view student information on the Student Progress Center, this permission MUST be unchecked; then, deny or grant permission appropriately via the Student Master parent/guardian information screens.


  1. To grant or deny permission to all students on the screen:
    • Click the check box at the top of the permission category column.
    • An asterisk (*) will appear in the column by all student names.
    • Select Yes from the list on the right to grant permission or select No from the list on the right to deny permission.
    • All asterisks will be replaced by the selected permission (Y/N).
    • A message that all records have been updated will appear.
    • Click OK.
  2. To grant or deny permission to multiple students or a single student:
    • Click in the permission column by the name(s) of the student(s) that need the same Y/N permission.
    • An asterisk (*) will appear in the permission column by the selected name(s).
    • Select the Yes/No from the list on the right.
    • All asterisks will be replaced by the selected permission (Y/N).
    • A message that all records have been updated will appear.
    • Click OK.


Print

  1. To print this report click the print button at the bottom of the screen. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  2. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear; click the print button at the top left to print the report. Close the print preview.
