This option will drop or restore an assignment grade from the marking period average.

  1. Click on any assignment grade for the student.
  2. Click on Grades and then Drop/Restore.
  3. If the grade is active, the user will be prompted to verify if they would like to drop the grade and, therefore, remove the assignment grade from the marking period average.
  4. The grade can be edited at this point. Note that the student`s name will still be grayed out but the grade field will be editable.
  5. If the grade is dropped, the user will be prompted to verify if they would like to restore the grade and, therefore, add the assignment grade back into the marking period average.
