How-to for Teachers

  1. Open WebGradebook.
  2. On the bottom left of the screen verify the Year
  3. Select the Course.
  4. Select the Grading Period.
  5. Click the Attendance icon at the top of the screen.
  6. The screen will change to the posting attendance screen and the roster of students will be the same class roster from WebGradebook.
  7. Locate the Out column
  8. Scroll through the list of students to find the student that is tardy to class.
  9. Click in the cell to the right of the student’s name in the Out column (the clock time of the original check out record).
  10. A list of Attendance Actions will appear. Select Post New Tardy-to-Class and click Ok.
  11. A popup will appear with the current clock time. This time can be edited as needed. Click Ok.
  12. Select the tardy to class code from a list of tardy reasons which appear with E or U beside each reason. E = Excused and U = Unexcused. Select the appropriate reason by selecting excused or unexcused.
    • If the student has accumulated 4 or more consecutive tardy's with no administrative action being taken, a message will appear stating that an e-mail will be sent to the administrators.
