Late Arrival/Early Departure video


How to generate a report of students with a late arrival attendance record or an early departure attendance record. You can generate the report for a range of days or for the to-date in the date range.


  1. On the left, Click on Attendance
  2. Under Lists, select Late Arrival/Early Departure.
  3. The setup box will appear.


Setup Box Options

  1. Select the desired Year. It will default to the current year.
  2. Verify District and School. The default values are based on your security settings.
  3. Select Grade. Leave the grade field blank if you want the report to include students in all grades. Or click the Grade field and select the grade(s) that you want to include on the report.
  4. Select the From Date.
  5. Select the To Date.
  6. In the Late Arrivals area complete the following information:
    • Select Show Late Arrivals for the To Date if you want to limit the report to include students with a Late Arrival attendance record with a check out date equal to the to date and a late arrival code.
    • Select Show Late Arrivals--This will include any student with a late arrival code on a date in the date range specified below.
    • Enter the Begin Time
    • Enter the End Time
    • Enter the No. of Late Arrivals > = (Enter the least number of late arrivals required for a student to be on the report.) Enter this number only if you DO NOT select the show late arrivals for the to date.
  7. In the Early Departures area complete the following information only if you want to include these students on the report:
    • Select the Show Early Departures check box to include these students on the report.
    • Enter the Begin Time
    • Enter the End Time
    • Enter the No. of Early Departures > = (Enter the least number of early departures required for a student to be on the report.)
  8. Select the Skip Codes these are usually limited to codes such as P (in-school suspension, field trip...), D (Doctor appointment), N (Extenuating Circumstances).
  9. Select the Order By: Alpha, Grade or Homeroom.
  10. Select to Show either Detail or Summary.
  11. Indicate whether you want active students only.


To Print the Report

  1. Click the Print button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. A popup will appear with a set of document print options--PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML.
  3. The default format will be PDF.
  4. Click the print button on this popup and a print preview window will appear.
  5. To get the print icon on this window, hover the mouse in the bottom right area of the preview. A grey rectangle will appear with several icons.
  6. Click the print icon at the right end of this rectangle. Another print preview will appear; click the print button at the top left to print the report.
  7. Close the print preview.
