Entering Course Requests in the Student Progress Center video

You will need your username and password before logging in to the Student Progress Center.

NOTE: There is a window of time set by your school for which this process will be available. If you have missed this window, see your school counselor about making your course requests.

To enter your course requests use the following set of instructions.

  1. Open a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Navigate to the website for your school/district's Student Progress Center. (Do not use a search to find this site as it may take you to the site for another district.)
  3. Click the Student button.
  4. Log in using your username and password.
  5. Click your name.
  6. Select the Curriculum link.
  7. Select a Course Type on the left side of the screen such as English, Mathematics, etc. to get a list of courses of that type.
  8. Select the specific course from the courses list on the right.
  9. The credit value of the course will appear along with the name of the course you select.
  10. As you select courses the count of courses and the total credits will be displayed above the list.
  11. Click the Submit Requests button after making all of your selections.
  12. The screen will automatically refresh. The new screen will display the list of selected courses along with credit values. The information for the course types will go away.

To remove a course or courses from the list of requests:

  1. Click in the Course Type field by the course you want to remove. Select a category that is different from the existing selection.
For example, if the first Course Request listed is English I, you might select Mathematics as the course type (or any other course type except English).
  2. When you select the course type, the Course Request on the right will be removed.
  3. Repeat the process for each course you want to remove from the list on the right.
  4. At this point you will have at least one Course Type on the left for which there is no Course Request.
  5. Click the Submit Request button.
  6. All Course Types for which there is no Course Request will be removed and the screen will be refreshed leaving only those Course Requests that you want to keep.
  7. At this time you can go through the selection process again to add new course requests. Be sure to click the submit button when finished.
