Obtain Feeder Students video

How-to

1. Open WebPams, select "Scheduling" from the left side of the screen
2. Under "Entry", select "Obtain Feeder Students"
3. Verify Setup information:
   • Click in the field to choose "Export Students from Year" (ex. 1112)
   • Click in the field to choose "Export Students to Year" (ex. 1213)
   • "Sending School" should be defaulted based on your security
   • Click in the field to choose "Receiving School"
   • Click in the field to choose "Student Grades to Process"; if grade -1 is selected, a codes list for preK students to be rolled up will appear on the screen; uncheck any code for which a preK student will not promote to Kindergarten; then click ok
   • Click in the field to choose "SBLC Codes to Process", select the SBLC codes for student transfer selection; any student with NO SBLC code, or with a SBLC code you select will be transferred to the destination school.
   • Review questions and check or uncheck as needed:
     1. "Upgrade Grade of Students Who Passed" will move the students to the next grade level
     2. "Replace Matching Student Grades" will copy over the student's records if it already exists in the new school year
     3. "Clear out Bus Numbers" will blanks out student's bus numbers
     4. "Match on Next School Only" will utilize the "Next School Fast Loader"
4. Click "Proceed"
5. Click "Undo" to remove the Feeder Students from the upcoming year using the same exact settings
