How-to Find a Student using the Find Button
On the left navigation panel, select Student Master, Entry and Student Master.
Setup Box Options
To find definitions for standard setup values, follow this link: Standard Setup Options.
Other set up values not listed in the standard set up list:
- Find Only Active Students - Only currently enrolled students without a leave date.
OK - Click to continue.
At the bottom of the Student Master screen is a button labeled Find. Click this button to get a box with a list of students in alphabetical order.
By using the keyboard or the keypad at the top of the student list, type the last name in the search box or scroll down the list of students and click on the appropriate name. You can also use the SIDNO (student indentification number) or SASID (state assigned student identification). The student's demographics will appear on the screen.
For students with multiple year records in the same school year, clicking on the red highlighted student name will display the dropped record and clicking on the non-highlighted student name will display the active record. The most recent student record will display first on the pick list.
NOTE that if a student has a remote section assigned to them, then a user from their school will see that school's records as well as the remote school's records. But the user will only be able to see the records from the remote school but not be able edit any records.
