Adding An Attachment(s) to a Lesson

  1. There are no restrictions on file type extensions (pdf, .png, .docx, etc) but if there are more that 10 megabytes, it will generate an error popup.
  2. Click on the paper clip to attach a file.
  3. The Add Attachments window will appear. At the bottom, click on either the Add from JDrive or Add Files button.
    • For the JDrive window, select one or more file(s) from JDrive. The attachment will show in the Selected File window separately as you click on each one. Click on Choose to see the file(s) listed described with the type, title and size. Then click on Close.
    • For the Add Files window, select one or more file(s) from your computer. Use the Control key if adding multiple files. The user will now see a new row with the chosen file(s) described with the type, title and size of the file. Then click on Close. This procedure will also add the file to the JDrive as well.
  4. For Share, check to allow other teachers to see the attachments when a lesson is shared. Administration can see all attachments in Lesson Plan Review whether the Share box is checked or not. If the Share box is checked on the attachment, and Lesson Plans DO show in SPC as designated in Communication Configuration, the attachments will be visible in SPC.

  5. Be sure to ALWAYS Save the lesson.

Editing an Attachment

  1. Click on a lesson plan, that has an icon, to see the menu and choose Edit Attachment.
  2. Click on the red square to delete the attachment.
  3. Click on one of the Add buttons to add additional files.
  4. Close out of the Add attachment window.

Student Progress Center - Attachments in Lesson Book can be viewed on the Student Progress Center with the exception of the attachments in Eval/Assessment.

  • In the SPC calendar, click on the Lesson Plan. At the bottom of the pop up screen, click on the button Attachments and you will see the attachment in another pop up window.
  • Attachment(s) in the gradebook can also be viewed on SPC.
