The Workspace is a tab separated work area that allows you to manage multiple open programs without overlapping windows. You have several different programs open at any given time. You can select a Tab to switch the active program. When you are finished with a program you can click on the red "X" at the top of the tab to close the individual program.

The interface is an entirely new organizational layout from the previous version of JPAMS (Java Principal Administrative System). This layout tries to organize all program links in a area/program type/alpha for fast lookup. Screen Overview 2.png


Menu Bar

Status
The first feature is the color of the menu bar. If the menu bar is red you are in training mode and the title will say training. If the background is gray you are in live mode.
  • Live mode is the data that actually is used to run the school.
  • Training mode is used for training and testing purposes and does not reflect true data.
User
The first name of the user logged in and the last date and time the user logged in will be displayed in the upper right. This pulls from HR. Above the Announcements there is the date and time of the last user sign in.


Icons
