How-to

  1. Click on the button Assignments.
  2. Click on Syllabus.
  3. A window will appear listing all assignments in the gradebook as well as those that were marked as “Do Not Display In The Gradebook”. In this window you can copy assignments from one class to another as well as from one year to another, create new assignments, edit existing assignments, or delete existing assignments. To copy, put a check in the box to the left of the assignment(s) needed to be copied
    • Click the “Copy” button at the bottom of the window.
    • Another window will appear. First select the year to copy to from the drop down labeled “Copy To Year”.
    • Click in the box to the right of the label “Copy To Section(s)” to check the sections to copy to.
    • Select the marking period to copy to from the drop down labeled “Copy To Marking Period”.
    • Click the button “Copy” to copy the assignment(s) to the specified selections.
  4. Click the “New” button at the bottom of the window to create a new assignment. See Creating Lessons/Assignments guide
  5. To edit an assignment, place a check in the box to the left of the assignment(s) needed to be edited.
    • Click the “Edit” button at the bottom of the window.
    • Edit the desired items, then click save or copy to other sections.
  6. To delete an assignment, place a check in the box to the left of the assignment or assignments needed to be deleted.
    • Click the “Delete” button at the bottom of the window. All assignments and grades associated with the assignment will be permanently deleted.


Columns on the far end of the Syllabus

Lock/Unlock - Shows if assignment is locked by the teacher by using the Grades→Lock/Unlock feature within the gradebook. Editing of the assignment is blocked as well as editing of grades. Grades will tun red in the gradebook.

Hide - Shows that the assignment is marked 'Do not show in gradebook'

Ob - Objectives added to the assignment/lesson plan

Lp - Lesson Plans added to the assignment/lesson plan

Hw - Homework added to the assignment/lesson plan

Mo - Modifications added to the assignment/lesson plan

Im - Instructional Methods added to the assignment/lesson plan

Ev - Evaluations/ Assessments added to the assignment/lesson plan
