Posting Comments video


These instructions will walk you through entering comments on students, both positive and negative.


Note: At least one assignment must exist before comments can be posted.


  1. Log into WebPams page
  2. On the left, click on "Grades"
  3. Under the heading "Entry", click on "WebGradebook"
  4. At the bottom of the WebGradebook, verify the school year and teacher. Choose the course then choose the marking period.
  5. Select the Grades menu at the top of the screen.
  6. Select Post Comments.
  7. The screen display will change. There will be a column on the left listing the students in the class. The student IDs and their grade level will also be on this side of the screen.
  8. There are columns labeled C01, C02, ... C12 for entering the various comments for a single student, a group of students, or for the whole class.
  9. The right side of the screen will list available codes with a description for each code.
  10. Enter comments based on the following conditions:
    • All students--click the check box found to the left of the comment number. An asterisk will appear beside all student names. Select the code from the list on the right side of the screen. All asterisks will change to the selected code.
    • Small group of students--click in a comment column beside the student's name and an asterisk will appear. Continue clicking on student names that are to receive the same comment. Select the code from the list on the right side of the screen. All asterisks will change to the selected code.
    • Single student--click in a comment column beside the student's name and an asterisk will appear. Select the code from the list on the right side of the screen. The asterisk will change to the selected code.
