How-to

  1. On the left, click on Scheduling
  2. Click on the arrow to the left of Lists
  3. Under Lists, select Audit Local Course Catalog
  4. On the setup box
    • "District" should be defaulted based on security
    • Check the following items based on user preference:
      1. By checking the option 'Check for Missing State Codes', any course in the course catalog without an State Course Code will be reported
      2. By checking the option 'Check for State Codes not in the State Course Catalog', any course that has a state code that is no longer apart of the State Course Catalog will be reported
      3. By checking the option 'Check for Missing Course Credit Assignment', any course that does not have a credit value will be reported
      4. By checking the option 'Check for Missing Course Grade Assignment', any course that does not have a grade level will be reported
      5. By checking the option 'Check for Missing Course Group Code', any course that do not have a group code will be reported
      6. By checking the option 'Check for Duplicate Course Names/Grades', any course that is identical to another course, based on course name and grade level, already in the course catalog will be reported
      7. By checking the option 'Check to Omit Obsolete Courses from Course Catalog', any course with the honor code of 'O' will not be included on this report
      8. By checking the option 'Check to Omit Course Code 999999 from list', any course with the state code of 999999 will not be included on this report
      9. By checking the option 'Check for Missing Semester Values', any course that does not have the number of semesters listed will be reported
      10. By checking the option 'Check .5 Credit Sem/Num Period Values', the number of credits will be checked against the number of semesters and the number of periods. If there is a mismatch, then the course will be reported
      11. By checking the option 'Check for Private School State Codes', any course with a private school state code while not being a private school will be reported
    • Click 'OK'
  5. A list of courses considered to be in error will appear on the screen. The reason for the error will be in the last column on the right
  6. All list programs are numbered along the left side so you can see a total
  7. By clicking on down arrow on the right side of any column header, additional options are available to you
    • "Sort Ascending" - alpha order
    • "Sort Descending" - reverse alpha order
    • "Configure Sort" - allows you to do a custom sort by multiple columns
      1. "Clear Sort" - Clears the "Configure Sort"
    • "Auto fit all Columns" - allows you to adjust all columns’ width to fit the text in each field automatically
    • "Auto Fit" – does the same but only in the column you are working on
    • "Column" - allows you to hide columns by unchecking the columns you do not want to see
    • "Group By" - when grouping, all items are sorted and then collapsed into drop down items to make the information easier to access in an organized fashion. It is an expanded level of sorting
      1. "Ungroup" - Clears the "Group By"
    • Freeze - allows you to keep a chosen column stationary while scrolling from left to right
  8. By clicking "Print", you will be given a box that allows you to make a choice of saving or printing in different formats
    • By highlighting rows within the list and then clicking print, the rows highlighted will be the only rows printed
    • Click + Drag
    • Control + Click
